The Golf House is the vision of Lloyd 'Happy' Gilmore. Back in 1993 Lloyd visited a golf store in New York - "it was on the first floor of an office building, just a great place to hang out and talk golf", says Lloyd. So in 1996 Lloyd began construction of the Golf House Superstore at Kingdon St Newmarket. With the help of students from Student Job Search, Lloyd transformed an empty shell into a luxury golf store.

In those early days it was a spacious affair with the focus being ultra high quality and not a lot of quantity. Today the original store is jam-packed with product, gone are the days of wide open spaces!

After all the changes, comings and goings, The Golf House store features one key ingredient - people who love the game!

Our business philosophy is based on service and knowledge of the game, backed up by a wide range of products , with the best price, catering for all your golfing needs.

The shop is well stocked with leading brand golf equipment, balls and accessories. We also have an extensive range of top quality clothing lines so you are sure to find something for every taste.

We are open 7 days a week. Trading hours during the Winter months are:

Monday 9:00am to 5:00pm, Tuesday - Friday 9:00am to 6:00pm, Saturday 9:00am to 5:00pm, Sunday 10:00am to 4:00pm

During the longer Summer days we are open till 7pm from Tuesday to Friday.
